Since 1960, CPC Integrated Health has served Monmouth County with a clear mission: providing accessible, high-quality mental health care to those who need it most. What began as a parent-led effort to support children with serious emotional disorders has grown into a leading nonprofit provider of integrated behavioral health services.
Today, CPC focuses on reducing emergency-based care that supports long-term wellness and recovery. To reach residents who face barriers to visiting one of CPC's five locations, CPC partnered with Vandoit to create a fully customized Clinical Assessment Unit that brings care directly into the community.
CPC needed more than transportation, they required a private, fully functional clinical environment on wheels. Vandoit delivered a custom-built Ford Transit designed to serve as a durable, reliable extension of CPC’s facilities.
Inside, the van mirrors a professional office setting. A dedicated workstation with a swivel captain’s chair and laptop mount enables clinicians to manage Integrated Case Management Services and update electronic health records in real time while in the field.
A mounted high-definition monitor allows clinicians to conduct telehealth appointments, connecting clients with psychiatrists and specialists who may not be physically present. The monitor can also be used for educational programming and supportive counseling sessions.
The unit features a sleek gray exterior prominently branded with CPC Integrated Health graphics, ensuring high visibility and approachability at community events. A large side awning allows the team to create a welcoming outdoor waiting or engagement area, helping reduce stigma and increase accessibility.
This partnership has expanded CPC’s ability to deploy Mobile Crisis Response and integrated physical and mental health coordination throughout the region.

The interior layout includes comfortable leatherette seating arranged to support individual, group, and family counseling sessions. The climate-controlled, confidential environment ensures clients receive care with dignity and privacy.

Recognizing the connection between mental and physical health, the van includes a utility module with a sink and glass cover. This allows clinicians to follow hygiene protocols and conduct basic physical health screenings alongside psychiatric evaluations.

A modular track system and overhead aluminum cabinetry provide flexibility, allowing the unit to be reconfigured or stocked based on daily needs, whether supporting substance use treatment initiatives, crisis intervention, or special education outreach.

Through its partnership with VanDOit, CPC Integrated Health has extended its reach beyond traditional clinic walls. This mobile Clinical Assessment Unit represents a powerful commitment to meeting individuals where they are to ensure that distance, transportation, or circumstance no longer stand in the way of care, recovery, and hope.
Every community faces unique challenges, and every organization deserves a solution built around its mission. Whether you’re expanding crisis response, launching a mobile clinic, or increasing outreach, Vandoit is ready to partner with you to design a vehicle that delivers real impact.
If you’re ready to mobilize your services and meet people where they are, let’s start the conversation.
